Late Model Class car. His home track is Grundy County Speedway but
he can be found racing at Illiana Motor Speedway, Rockford Speedway and
Slinger Super Speedway. He lives in Bowling Brook, IL.
Team members helping Scott are:
William and Karen Dunning.
Scott started racing in 1995 in the Go
Carts Class at Joliet Memorial Stadium because he'd been around racing
his entire life. His first win was in '95 in the Go Cart Class at
Lake Village Motor Speedway. Career highlights include winning 3
Go Cart Championships, Rookie of the Year in the Mid American Stock Car
Series, Rookie of the Year at Grundy County Speedway and Rookie of the
Year in Illini Midget Series.
The thrill of racing for Scott is that
he enjoys the intense competition of side by side in a 20 car Feature.
His most exciting racing moment was his first Mid Am Stock Car Series
Feature win, his first Late Model Feature made at Grundy County
Speedway, winning Rookie of the Year in Late Model at Grundy County
Speedway. He's most proud that he's built all of his cars from
scratch and from the ground up! Being competitive with a family
racing team.
Scott's racing heroes are Davey Allison
and Brett Sontag.
Of racing, Scott says, "Don't waste your
money on NASCAR, focus on local Short Track racing!".
