Matt Tangman drives the #89 Hornet Class car.  He lives in Springfield, IL.  His home track is Jacksonville Speedway but he can be found racing also at Lincoln Speedway and several others. 

He started racing in 2004 in the Hornet Class at Jacksonville Speedway because he wanted to.  His first win was in 2004 in the Hornet Class at Lincoln Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Matt is going fast.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win.
