Guy started racing in 1987 in the Go
Karts Class at Mechanicsburg, Quincy and Dewitt, IL because his Dad had
raced since Guy was born and he wanted to follow in his footsteps.
His first win was in '88 in the Go Karts Class at Midstate in
Mechanicsburg, IL. Career highlights include '92 raced Late Models
for 2 years, took a break to raise his son, started again in '10 in
Modifieds with 3 wins in '11 and 6 wins so far in '12.
The thrill of racing for Guy is the
competition and the people you meet. His most exciting racing
moment was winning '11 Modified Feature at Macon Speedway the night of
the Herald & Review 100. He's most proud of the people he's met.

Guy's racing heroes are his Father, Dick
Taylor and his brother, Matt Taylor.
