Chuck Mitchell drives the #117 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Jacksonville Speedway but he can also be found racing at Macon Speedway, Lincoln Speedway and Farmer City Raceway.  He lives in Jacksonville, IL.

Team members helping Chuck are:  Bill West, Kathy West, Russell Coultas, Cleatus Coats, Bob Northrup, Justin Layne.  Bill West is the car owner.

Chuck started racing in 1998 in the Go Kart Class at Pittsfield Speedway because of Bill West.  His first win was that same year. 

The thrill of racing for Chuck is going fast.  His most exciting racing moment was when he won his first Late Model Heat at Macon Speedway in '07.  He's most proud of getting to drive for Bill West.

Chuck's racing hero is Shannon Babb.

Of racing, Chuck says, "It's a lot of fun and I think more kids should get into it because once you start you can't stop!".
