Joe Ross Jr.
#25
Joe Ross Jr. late model #25 is from
Springfield, IL. His home track is Macon, and he also races at Farmer
City.
Joe began racing in 1985 in the
bomber division. Like so many of us, he started because his dad raced and
he always went to the races as a kid.
Joe has won several Late Model
track championships. Godfrey in 96-97, Macon in 1998, and Farmer City in
2000 and 2001.
The car is a 99 Rayburn chassis
powered by a Tom Finch race engine. Joe's racing hero is Jeff Purvis.
Winning the 1995 Hearld and Review
is Joe's biggest racing accomplishment. Joe's goal is to just keep "Doin
It!"
Joe would like to thank Tom Finch,
Jerry Patterson and C.J. Rayburn for all of their help and support in his
racing program.
Joe's quote: "It's not as easy as it
looks."
