Shane Tomlin

Shane Tomlin drives the #18 Sportsman Class car.  He lives in New Berlin, Illinois.  His home track is Macon Speedway. 

He began racing in 1991 in the Q-midget Class at Broadwell. "It's all I ever wanted to do," he says when asked why he started racing.

His first win was in 1991 at Broadwell in the Q- midgets. His career highlights include winning Track Championships in the Quarter-Midgets and Go-Karts plus he's working on one in the Sportsman Class..

The thrill of racing for Shane is the speed and competition. His most exhilarating moment was the first time on Springfield Mile (he finished 3rd). He is most proud that in his racing career his Dad and he have done it all.

His racing heroes are Doug Wolfgang and Dale Earnhardt.
