Greg Kimmons

Greg Kimmons drives the #27 Sportsman Class car. He lives in Pleasant
Plains, Illinois. His home track is Farmer City Raceway but he can
also be found racing at Macon County Speedway.
Team members helping Greg are: Don Kimmons (car
owner), Donnie Kimmons, Crystal Peecher, Wayne Taylor, Bernie Kimmons,
Sharon Kimmons, Mark Stott, Evan Stott, Brennan Taylor and Derek
Bergschnieder.
Greg started racing in 1999 in the
Street Stock class and in 2000 in the Sportsman Class at Macon County Speedway. His first win was in 2001,
in the Sportsman class
at Jacksonville Speedway. His career highlights include: 9
Features wins, 2002 & 2003 Jacksonville Track Champion and Macon County
Speedway Track Champion in 2004. He won the 2005 Track championship at
Macon Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Greg is the speed and
winning. His most exciting racing moment was
winning the Curt Piercy Memorial at Fairbury. He's most proud of
his Track Championships.
Greg's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
