Clark Robertson
#35
Clark Robertson drives the #35
Modified Class car. He lives in Shelbyville, IL. His home
track is Macon Speedway.
Clark began racing in 1992 in the
Street Stock Class at Macon Speedway. Watching his dad race sprint cars,
Clark grew up helping his dad in the garage inevitably leading to the
"racing fever".
His first win was in 1992 (his very
first race) in the Street Stock Class at Macon Speedway. His career highlights are: 1998- 4th in points
in the Bomber Class at Macon;
1999- 2nd in points in Street Stock Class at Macon; winning 6 7-Trophy Dashes, 7 Heats
and 7 Features ( all while driving the "Mopar Magic" Dodge).
The thrill of racing for Clark is when
you build something yourself that can make you accomplish your goals. His most exhilarating moments have
been winning his first feature and winning the first race he was ever
in, in the car that he built.
He is most proud of: " The
accomplishments that I have made since I started racing. Moving up in
each class, learning and experiencing the different style of cars, and,
racing with new and legendary drivers."

Of racing, Clark says, " With racing you get this
adrenaline rush every time you get on the track that no drug can ever be
compared to. It's a rush like your heart beats out of your chest and
your fingers get sweaty and you grip the steering wheel tight. All you see is the track that awaits you. Your
mind is constantly thinking of the next move, the challenge is on!".
