Tommy Sheppard

Tommy Sheppard drives the #66T Modified Class car.  His home track is Shepps Speedway but he can also be found racing at Jacksonville Speedway, Spoon River Speedway and Macon Speedway.  He lives in Berlin, IL.

Team members helping Tommy are:  George Sheppard - Dad, Briana Sheppard, Randy Irvin, Tyson Skinner, Jeff Barker. 

Tommy started racing in 1979 in the Go Karts Class at Mid State Kart Club because it's in his family's blood.  His first win was in '79 in the Go Karts Class at St. Charles, MO.

The thrill of racing for Tommy is the speed, competition, racing in general.  His most exciting racing moment was every Sprint car race he ever ran.  He's most proud of driving the house car for Doemelt Chassis, being on the front page of Hawkeye Racing News Knoxville edition.

Tommy's racing heroes are Bubby Jones, Dad, Ed Bauman, and Stevie Sheppard.
