John Woodard drives the #8 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Macon Speedway.  He lives in Illiopolis, IL.

Team members helping John are:  Brian Hayes, Jamie Logan, Blake Damery, Kirby Damery, Wayne Hayes.

John started racing in 1998 in the Late Model Class at Mt. Vernon Speedway because he grew up watching motor sports and fell in love with it.  His first win was in 2000 in the Late Model Class at Farmer City Raceway in the Semi Feature.

The thrill of racing for John is the speed.  His most exciting racing moments are anytime he's in the car.  He's most proud of just being able to race and have fun.  He's made a lot of really good friends.

John's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, John says, "It's a lot of fun.  The more you get involved the more fun you will have.  There are a lot of good people in racing!".
