Cory Dougherty drives the #96 Modified Class car.  He lives in Blue Mound, IL.  His home track is Macon County Speedway.

Cory began racing in 1997 in the Sportsman class at Macon Speedway. He started racing after his father-in-law built a car. His first win was in 1997 in the Modified class at Paris.

His career highlights include: one Late Model feature win and four Modified feature wins.

The thrill of racing for Cory is going fast. His most exhilarating moment was winning the Late model feature at Farmer City. He's most proud of his Late Model Feature win.

Of racing, Cory says, "Fun but expensive!".
