Danny Smith drives the #D98 Modified Class car.  His home track is Macon Speedway but he can also be found racing at Farmer City Raceway.  He lives in Argenta, IL.

Team members helping Danny are:  Rob Taylor, Jackie Smith - Mom, David Smith - Brother.  The Smith family owns the car.

Danny started racing in 1996 in the Bomber Class at Macon Speedway.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include top 10 first 2 years racing Bomber Class and Street Stock Class at Macon Speedway and Farmer City Raceway, finishing 10th in Points in Modified Class at Macon Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Danny is when it's time to go, when you snap the belt, you gotta a job to do.

Danny's racing hero is Steve Francios.

Of racing, Danny says, "It's an adrenaline rush!  It's just exciting to get behind the wheel!".
