Keith Mahon

Keith Mahon drives the #M13 Street Stock Class car.  He lives in Decatur, IL.  His home track is Macon County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Fayette County Speedway.

Keith started racing in 2002 in the Street Stock Class at Macon County Speedway for fun and a break from work and his kids.  His career highlight, so far, has been flipping his car (twice) and walking away from it.

When asked what the thrill of the experience is for him he replied: " Being able to go fast and speed without getting tickets."  His most exciting racing moment was rolling twice.  He's most proud of the privilege of being able to race every weekend.

Of racing, Keith says,  " For the most part racer's are a good group of guys that will help if you need it. You don't have to have a lot of sponsors or a bunch of fancy parts to be able to race and have fun!".

Keith's racing hero is Davey Allison.
