Tom Gibson drives the #21x Modified Class car. He lives in Glasford, Illinois. His home track is Peoria Speedway.

He began racing in 1982 in Modified Class at Peoria for the thrill of it. His first win was in 1984 in Street Stock Class at Spoon River Speedway.  Career highlights include 2001-Peoria Speedway-June21-Father's Day, 1997 UMP Fall Nationals-Pro Street Feature and 1984 Spoon River Season Champion.

The thrills of racing for Tom are the speed and the smell of the cars. His most exciting racing moment was his first win-1984 Season Championship-from last to first. He is most proud of meeting a lot of nice people.

Tom's racing hero is Don Bohlander.
