John Pace

John Pace drives the #69 Street Stock Class car.  He lives in Creve Coeur, IL.  His home track is Peoria Speedway but he can also be found racing at Spoon River Speedway and Farmer City Speedway.

He started racing in 1989 in the Hobo Class at Spoon River Speedway because his Dad used to race when John was a kid.  John will never forget his first race where he was in the lead the entire race and then was taken out in t he last lap in turn four.

The thrill of racing for John is when you can run door to door without getting hit.  His most exciting racing moment was when his Dad said he was proud of John.  He's most proud of having fun doing it.

John's racing hero is his Dad.

Of racing, John says, "If you're not having fun, give it up!".
