Class at Blue Grass Speedway after growing up in the sport and because his
Dad races. He won his first race in 1990 In Late Model Class at
Bluegrass. Career highlights include 1998 Div Track Champion, 1999
Bluegrass Track Champion, 2001 Davenport Champion, 2002 Maquoketa
Champion, 2003 Chuck Hamilton Memorial, 2003 Season Champion Peoria Race
and winning 10 Races at Blue Grass in 1999.
The thrill of racing for Doug is the
competition. His most exciting racing moment was winning the Hamilton
Memorial Race at Peoria. He is most proud of winning the Ron Weedon
Award in 2003, voted by his racing counterparts.
