John Rhodes drives the #79 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Peoria Speedway but he can also be found racing at Lincoln, Macon and Farmer City.  He lives in Peoria, IL.  People who help John are:  Don, Jerry (Dad), Jeff, Tison, Scott, Eric, Tyler, Sue (Mom), Tara, Darla, and Ron.

John started racing in 1996 in the Bomber Class at Peoria Speedway because it runs in his family.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include finishing 3rd in the Points.

The thrill of racing for John is the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was when he rolled his car 3 1/2 times.  He's most proud of all the good finishes and just a few DNF's since he's been running.

John's racing hero is Jeff Gordon.
