Waylon Grant drives the #Lil 5a Hornet Class car.  His home track is Peoria Speedway. 

Team members helping Waylon are:  Kevin Janson, Jimi Grant, Doug McBride, Levi Alvarado.

He started racing in 2002 in the Hornet Class at Peoria Speedway.  His first win was in 2003 in the Hornet Class at the Peoria Semi Feature Race. 

The thrill of racing for Waylon is loving the excitement of hearing his son, Jordan, cheer his on.  His most exciting racing moment was the first time he got into a race car.  He's most proud of his first win.

Waylon's racing hero is Jeff Gordon because he started on dirt.
