John Pace drives the #47 Hornet Class car.  His home track is Peoria Speedway but he can also be found racing at Spoon River Speedway and Farmer City Raceway.  He lives in Creve Coeur, IL.

John started racing in '89 in the Street Stock Class at Spoon River Speedway because his Father used to race when John was a kid and his Dad inspired him to race also.  Career highlights include when he was running 3rd and taken out.

The thrill of racing for John is when you can run side by side with someone and neither one of you hit each other.  His most exciting racing moment was watching his buddy kick butt in the Sportsman Class at Peoria #38 Kevin Grammer.  He's most proud of when he raced and did not wreck his car.

John's racing heroes are his Dad and Kevin.
