Dave Nelson drives the #22 Late Model Class car. He lives in East Moline, Illinois. His home track is Quad City Speedway but he can also be found racing at Davenport Speedway.

He began racing in 2003 in Open Wheel Class at Quad City Speedway after helping a friend with his car.

The thrills of racing for Dave are the rush and the hanging out with friends. His most exciting racing moment was going into racing late Models. He is most proud of when he was Crew Chief for Bob Miller and raced at Eldora at the Dream.

Dave's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
