Bob Miller
#6
Bob Miller drives the #6 Late Model
Class car. He lives in E. M. Silvis, Illinois. His home track is
Quad City Speedway but he can also be found racing at Davenport Speedway,
Iowa.
He began racing in 1989 in Pro Stock
Class at East Moline Speedway, because he quit drag racing due to the fact
there was only one track and not enough money in it. His first win was in
1991 in Pro Stock Class at East Moline Speedway.
Career highlights include, 1994-won 42
Heat Races and 19 Features in Pro Stock Division between 3 Tracks,
Aledo-East Moline and Macomb Speedways.
The thrill of racing for Bob is having
his family involved. His most exciting racing moment was running at
the Dream at Eldora in 2002. Didn't make the show but finished 4th in the
Non-Qualifier. He is most proud of the life long friends he has made.
Bob's racing hero is his
Grandfather-Lyle Snyder.
Of racing, Bob says, "Race fans and
drivers are the best. As a driver you can hit and run into a car and make
that driver mad at you and then go out for dinner with them later that
night. We usually get over being upset pretty quickly."
