Eric Gustaf drives the #9E Late Model
Class car. He lives in Moline, Illinois. His home track is Quad City
Speedway but he can also be found rain at Davenport.
He began racing in 2002 in Late model
Class at East Moline Speedway because he had wanted to race all of his
life. His first win was in 2003 in Late Model Class at Burlington 34
Raceway. Career highlights include winning two Track Championships
in a row at 34 Raceway.
The thrill of racing for Eric is beating
childhood racing heroes. His most exciting racing moment was coming in
second at Cedar Rapids, started 17, went back to 22, and almost won. He is
most proud of having the respect of his competitors because they know he
has earned it.
Eric's racing hero is his Dad-Ron
Gustaf.
