Jim races modifieds out of Mapleton Il. He began racing in a modified in 1990 at Spoon River. He loved speed and competition.  He got his first win his rookie year.

Jim has won the UMP falll nationals 3 times, Twice he has won the Spoon River Speedway track championship ,1995,1996. He also was the UMP state champion.

The thrill of racing for Jim is WINNING!  His greatest racing thrill was beating Mark Noble in the UMP fall nationals.
