Craig Richards drives the #74NZ Late Model (Super Saloons - NZ).  His home track is Baypark Speedway in New Zealand.  He lives in Witianga, New Zealand.

Team members helping Craig are:  Stephen Richards, Grant Lowe, Shane Shirley, Mike, Dorothy and Justin Allgaier.  Car owners are Mike Allgaier (USA) and Stephen Richards (Richards Motorsports) (NZ).

Craig started racing in 1986 in the Street Stock Class at Rotorua, NZ because it looked like fun.  His first win was in 1987 in the Street Stock Class at Tauranga, NZ.  Career highlights include 1987-88 NZ Street Stock Champion, NZ Limited Saloon Car Champion, Currently 3rd in NZ, 2004-05 South Pacific Saloon Car Champion. 

The thrill of racing for Craig is clean, fast, hard racing and socializing afterwards with sponsors.  His most exciting racing moment was beating Justin Allgaier to win the South Pacific Saloon Car Championship in 2004.  He's most proud of his sponsors and crew.
