Matthew Pratt

Matthew Pratt drives the #8J truck in the Thunder Truck Class.  His home track is Spoon River Speedway but he can also be found racing at Macomb.  He lives in Havana, IL.  People who help Matthew are:  Joni, Chad, Big Chad, Terry, and Doug.

Matthew started racing in 2004 in the Hornet Class at Spoon River Speedway because his cousins raced and Matthew had helped them in the pits, so he thought he would give it a try.  Career highlights include finishing 3rd his first night out.  The thrill of racing for Matthew is just to have fun on the weekends. 

Of racing, Matthew says, "We only live once, balls to the walls!".
