Trista Stevenson drives the #45 Limited
Late Model Class car. Her home track is Tri-City Speedway but she
can be found racing at Highland Speedway and Fayette County Speedway.
She lives in Pocahontas, IL.
Team members helping Trista are:
Bill Russell, Bill Marquardt, Pepper, Dan Kimbro, Brian McFarland, Mom
and Dad. Kenny Stevenson is the car owner.
Trista started racing in 1996 in the Jr.
Novice Class at Bunker Hill, IL because her Dad, brother and uncle raced
and it looked like fun. Her first wins were in 1996 in the Jr.
Novice Class at Bunker Hill, 2003 in the Half Midget Class at Terre
Haute Speedway and 2005 in the Sportsman Class at Fayette County
Speedway. Career highlights include Regional Champion two years in
a row in the Half Midget Class in 2003 and 2004, 4 Heat wins, 2 Dash
wins and 1 Feature win in the Sportsman Class in 2005.
The thrill of racing for Trista is
knowing that she is a good driver and that it's all about fun. Her
most exciting racing moment was when she won a Championship her first
year in that class. She's most proud of being the "New Comer of
the Year" in the St. Louis Racing area.
Trista's racing hero is Kyle Petty.
Of racing, Trista says, "That it's a
great sport to get into even if you are just racing to have fun and not
trying to win!".
