Tres Mehler

Tres Mehler drives the #13 Restricted 600 Class car.  His home track is Charleston Speedway but he can also be found racing at Bakersfield Raceway Park and Coles County Speedway.  He lives in Oblong, IL.

Team members helping Tres are:  Grandma and Grandpa Larrabee, Dad, Mom and Koert.  Also thanks to Hal Orndorf.

Tres started racing in 1999 in the Jr. Novice Class at Terra Haute because after seeing it he's enjoyed it ever since.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 23 Feature wins in 5 years of Quarter Midgets, finishing 2nd in the National Race with his Jr. Sprint, and 4 Feature wins so far in 2006.

The thrill of racing for Tres is the speed and competition.  His most exciting racing moment was finishing 2nd at Nationals after flipping on the first lap.  He's most proud of all of his trophies.

Tres's racing heroes are Danny Lasoski and Tony Stewart.
