Kayla Evans drives the #22 Restrictor Class Sprint car.  Her home track is Delta Speedway but she can also be found racing at Lemoore Raceway and Plaza Park Raceway.  She lives in Manteca, CA.

Team members helping Kayla are:  Brian Biggs, Mick  Evans - Dad, Kim Evans - Mom, Brittany Evans, Ryan, Kayla, Kenny, Marry, Mitch, Wes.  Mick and Kim Evans are the car owners.

Kayla started racing in 2001 in the Box Stock Class at Delta Speedway because she liked riding quads and racing looked like a lot of fun.  Her first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Track Champion in the Restrictor Class at Delta Speedway in 2002, '03, '04, 2002 Rookie of the Year, Fast Qualifier 2 years in a row and finished 2nd in Points in '01 and '05.

The thrill of racing for Kayla is going fast and beating boys.  Her most exciting racing moment was starting in the B Main at the Palace Nationals, moving to the A Main.  Started 16th in the A Main and finished 4th.  She's most proud of winning Track Championship 3 years in a row.

Kayla's racing hero is Rusty Wallace.

Of racing, Kayla says, "It's a great sport.  It's a lot of money but it's worth every penny.  you get to meet new people and spend time with your family!".
