Lucas Shidler drives the #26 600 Mini Sprint (R) Class car.  His home track is Charleston Speedway but he can also be found racing at Bakersfield Raceway Park and Coles County Speedway.  He lives in Robinson, IL.

Team members helping Lucas are:  Scott, Jevell Shidler, Brad Paddock, Johnny Neeley, Mike Shidler.  Scott Shidler is the car owner.

Lucas started racing in 1998 in the Quarter Midget Class at Terre Haute, IN because some friends told them to come to Terre Haute and watch them race.  They've been hooked ever since.  His first win was in 1998 in the Jr. Novice Class at Terre Haute.  Career highlights include 2005 National Champion, 2004 and 2005 Track Championship at Terre Haute and Regional Champion in 2002, '03, '04 and '05.

The thrill of racing for Lucas is the adrenaline rush!  His most exciting racing moment was winning the 2005 Quarter Midget Dirt Grands.  He's most proud of being able to win multiple Championships and having such a strong pit crew.

Lucas's favorite racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Jr.
