Billy Hough drives the #29 A Class Sprint car.  His home track is Coles County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Wayne County Speedway and Southern Illinois Raceway.  He lives in Thomasboro, IL.

Team members helping Billy are:  Harold Hough, Terry Long, Tony Sarver, Harold "Hank" Hough, Kyle Hough, Orange & Blue Dist. (Alan Everett), John Silver at Silvers Machine Shop.  Harold and Billy Hough are the car owners.

Billy started racing in 1976 in the Go Karts Class at Rantoul Kart Club because he grew up around Late Model tracks with his Dad who got Billy started in Karts when his Late Model team split.  Billy's first win was in 1977 in the Jr. Class at Highwinders Kart Club.  Career highlights include 2 Track Championships in Go Karts in '78 & '79 in Jr. Class, 1 Track Championship in Singles Class in '97 at Decatur Modified Midgets, finished 10th in National Points in '04 in the Singles Class.

The thrill of racing for Billy is the competition, building and designing things, making adjustments and making the car faster.  His most exciting racing moment are way to many...the most exciting things are to come.  He's most proud of Top 10 in the Nation after a 5 year layoff in Modified Midget.
