Jimmy Wells drives the #36 A Class and Non Wing Class Sprint car.  His home track is Southern Illinois Raceway but he can also be found racing at Wayne County Speedway and Coles County Speedway.  He lives in Benton, IL.

Team members helping Jimmy are:  Jim Wells, Scott Britton, Dr. Charles Neal, Brodrix Burke, Terry Palmisano, Dave Sinks, Dan Chady. 

Jimmy started racing in 2006 in the A Class at Southern Illinois Raceway because he had raced Go Karts and to go faster.  His first win was in the 2006 in the A Class at Wayne County Speedway.  Career highlights include 1st Burris Points, 2nd place Track Champion.

The thrill of racing for Jimmy is being with family and friends and meeting new ones and of course winning!  His most exciting racing moment was his first Feature win in Micro Sprints.  He's most proud of winning Burris Points race and his first Feature win at Wayne County Speedway.

Jimmy's racing hero is Jake Palmisano.

Of racing, Jimmy says, "Go out, have fun, don't be a cry baby and let the kids race.  But, most of all go by the rule book, not how the Board feels!".
