Spencer Montgomery drives the #42 Junior Class Sprint car.  His home track is Coles County Speedway and Wayne County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Southern Illinois Raceway.  He lives in Windsor, IL.

Team members helping Spencer are:  Dad, Mom, Brothers - Dustin & Travis, Sister - Crystal, Don Cruse, Dale Ridgway.  Jeff Montgomery is the car owner.

Spencer started racing in 2005 in the Junior Class at Coles County Speedway because he liked racing and used to go and watch every weekend.  His first win was in that same year.  Career highlights include Track Champion in '05 in the Junior Class, 13 in Nation and 5th in Region 2, 2006 won Indiana State Race, 2nd in the Illinois State Race, 2nd in Easterns Race. Spencer won his class in the 2006 NMMA Nationals and won the National Points Championship.

The thrill of racing for Spencer is going fast.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first Feature and winning trophies.  He's most proud of only racing for 2 years.  During that time he has accomplished a lot and learned more driving skills.

Spencer's racing hero is Jeff Gordon.
