Credence started racing in 1998 in the
Jr. Sprint Class at Southern Illinois Raceway because his Dad got out of
ATV racing and into 250
Singles and the rest is history. His first win was that same year.
Career highlights include Track Championships at Southern Illinois
Raceway in A Class in 2005, Restrictor Class in 2003 - 2004, 24 Feature
wins in 2005 (A Class) and 2004 (Restrictor Class), plus many other
wins.
The thrill of racing for Credence is all
the fun and the adrenaline rushes. His most exciting racing moment
were Fast Time at Nationals at Will Roger's Raceway in Claremore, OK in
'05 and the B Main the next day was a close tie. He's most proud
of how much he's done in racing for a 16 year old.
Credence's racing heroes are Dale
Earnhardt Sr., Hunter Schuerenberg, Rick King.
Of racing, Credence says, "It is NOT as
easy as it looks. It's fun, but can wear you out not only
physically but mentally. There are a lot of mind games in it!".
