Barbie Kimmel drives the #8 Jr. Class Sprint car.  Her home track is Miami County Speedway.  She lives in Mentone, IN.

Team members helping Barbie are:  Mom, Dad, Grandpa.  Joe & Cindy Kimmel are the car owners.

Barbie started racing in 2000 in the Jr. Novis Quarter Midget class at Kokomo Speedway because her brother did and it looked like fun.  She moved up to Jr. Sprints in 2003 at Miami County Speedway.  Her first win was in 2004 in the Jr. Sprint Class at Miami County Speedway.  Career highlights include 2004 & 2005 Track Champion in Jr. Sprint at Miami County Speedway, Rookie of the Year in '03 in Jr. Sprint at Miami County Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Barbie is going fast and having fun.  The most exciting racing moment for Barbie was setting Fast Time at Easterns in '05 at Wayne County Speedway.  She's most proud of going from the back of the field at Easterns to 3rd in '05 at Wayne County Speedway.

Barbie's racing heroes are Stephanie Mockler and Sam Kimmel.
