Shawn Ward drives the #87c Super Stock Class car.  His home track is Jetmore Motorplex but he can also be found racing at Hutchinson Raceway Park.  He lives in Great Bend, KS.

Team members helping Shawn are:  Rick Lamb, Joe Lamb, Jason Levingston, Marvin Ward, Mike Petersilie, Randy Wilson, Cearra Reddig.  Marvin Ward is the car owner.

Shawn started racing in 2005 in the Street Stock Class at Hutchinson Raceway Park because every guy in his family has driven a race car and he's been watching them since he was little and always wanted to drive.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include finishing 4th in his very first A Feature in 2005.  He finished the season 6th in the Points, only 2 points out of 5th place.

The thrill of racing for Shawn is trying to be as good as his Uncle Milton and Randy Wilson to win Championships.  His most exciting racing moment was when he won his very first Heat Race, which felt like a Feature win to Shawn!  He's most proud of knowing that, at his age, he is as good or better than his Uncle Milton when he drove.

Shawn's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
