Dustin Smith drives the #29s Grand
National class car. His home track is Lakeside Speedway but he can
also be found racing at US 36 Raceway. He lives in Kansas City,
MO.

Dustin started racing in 1989 in the
Pewee Mini Motocross Class at Kingsville Challenge Tracks because he was
born with it. His first win was in 1989 in the Pewee Mini
Motocross Class at Columbia, MO. Career highlights include 1995
National Champion Jr. 1 2 Cycle Kart, 1997 Missouri Dirt Series and
Missouri Kart Series Champion Jr 2 4 Cycle, 2002 5th place in Midwest
Sprint Car Series.
The thrill of racing for Dustin is every
aspect from working in the shop getting ready, to going into turn 3 on
the last lap three wide! His most exciting racing moment is, in
addition to lots of exciting moments, setting up and executing multi car
passes. He's most proud of consistently finishing close to the Top
5 every weekend for 2 years on a Sprint car frame.
Dustin's racing heroes are Guy Cooper,
Danny Lasoski, Ken Schrader.
Of racing, Dustin says, "If you watch
