Steven Ashby lives in Cunningham, TN. His home track is Clarksville, TN.

He began racing in 1995 in Street Class at Clarksville because he had started out helping his Uncle when he was 9 or 10 years old. His first win was in Clarksville in 1995 in Street Class. Career highlights include 2nd in Points two years in a row at Clarksville Speedway, TN., 9th in Battle of Bluegrass Points in 2003.

The thrill of racing for Steven is  that he enjoys seeing the different tracks and learning about racing. It's a hobby  for him. His most exciting racing moment was racing at the Dirt Track World Championship in Bardstown, Getting Fantastic Driver at Clarksville in Open Wheel Modified. He is most proud of Making four Summer National starts at different tracks. He never raced his first year in a Late Model.

Steven's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Steven says, "Lots of work but alot of fun".
