John Dobbs lives in Monticello, KY.  His home track is Clinton County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Lake Cumberland.

He began racing in 1998 in Road Hog Class at Lake Cumberland after switching from Motorcross. His first win was  the same year , class and track. Career highlight was winning a Feature at Clinton County Speedway.

The thrills of racing are the speed and side by side racing. His most exciting racing moment was his first win. He is most proud of winning and running good.

His racing hero is Jeremy McGrath.
