Jim Foley drives the #69 Sportsman Class
car. he lives in Williamsburg, KY. His home track is Corbin motor
Speedway.
He began racing in 1978 at Corbin in
Street Class because of the need for speed. His first win was in 19878,
same Track and Class.
The thrills of racing for him are Stress
relief, the speed and the competition. His most exciting racing moment was
the Daytona Speed Week at New Smyrna Speedway. He is most proud of
surviving.
His racing heroes are Tony Stewart and
Jim's son, Jerrod Foley.
Of racing, Jim says, "If I have to
explain, you wouldn't understand".
