Kevin Ashby drives the #174 6 Cylinder Class car. He lives in Caneyville, Ky. His home track is Fairview Motorsports but he can also be found racing at Soggy bottom Speedway.

He began racing in 2003 in 6 Cylinder Class at Fairview because it was run and his Dad and Brothers also raced. His first win was in 2003 at Fairview in 6 cylinder. Career highlights include, 2003He won his first race-6cyl., Heat win in 2003-6cyl. and 2004 He beat his brother by a bumper to win-6cyl.

The thrill of racing for Kevin is racing with his older brother and beating him. His most exciting racing moment was when he won his first race and beat his brother. He is most proud  of just being able to race, its fun and he enjoys racing with his brother Ricky. When he won his first race in Oct. 2003 it was fun.

His racing heroes are His Dad-Richard Ashby,  Bobby LaBonte, Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr., Randy and Jimmy Westerfield.

Of racing, Kevin says, "It's fun to race. It doesn't matter if I win or not. It is fun and 6 cylinder doesn't cost allot to run either.
