Mark Sallee drives the #76 Pure Stock Class car.  His home track is Florence Speedway but he can also be found racing at Lawrenceburg Speedway.  He lives in Covington, KY.

Mark started racing in 2000 in the Figure 8 Class at Florence Speedway because drags became boring.  His first win was in 1977 in Drags at Thornhill.  Career highlights include Rookie of the Year, car owner, builder, crew chief for his wife at Lawrenceburg. in '05. 

The thrill of racing for Mark is loading the car in one piece.  His  most exciting racing moment was his wife winning r.o.y. in '05.  He's  most proud of building his own cars. 

Mark's racing hero is Smokey Yunick.

Of racing, Mark says, "Bring help and lots of cash.  It is has tits or tires, it's gonna give you problems!".
