He started racing in 2001 in Chevette Class at Lake Cumberland because of his family. his first win was in 2001 Chevette Class at Ponderosa.  Career highlights include 32 Wins  so far.

The thrills of racing for Rodney  are the speed and winning. His most exciting racing moment was, "Flying 8 feet in the air and landing on the nose of the car!!". He is most proud of all of his racing trophies.
