Rod Neil Carter Jr. Drives the #21 Late
Model Class car. He lives in Woodbine, Ky. His home track is Lake
Cumberland Speedway but can also be found racing at Tazewell Speedway and
Ponderosa.
He started racing in 1989 in Street Stock
at Corbin speedway, because of "Family genes from Father." His first win
was the same year at the same track in the Street Stock Class.
Career highlights include, 1991 Street Stock Champion-Corbin Speedway,
1992 Super Street Champion-Corbin Speedway, 1993-94-95 Late Model
Champion-Corbin Speedway, Last year raced Black Top 1995 won 13 out of 22
Features, Started Dirt Racing in 1996 Late Model, won Late Model
Championship 2001 Lake Cumberland Speedway has won approx. 50
Feature wins on dirt and black top.
The thrill of racing for Rod is
winning racing. His most exciting racing moment was First Feature win
Black Top and Dirt Late Model. He is most proud of wining and being
competitive in all Classes, Dirt and Black Top.
Ron's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
