Gerald McGowan drives the #29 Chevette Class car. He lives in Russell Springs, Ky. His home track is  Lake Cumberland Speedway But he can also be found racing at Clinton County.

He started racing in 1999 in Chevette at Lake Cumberland Speedway because he had watched racing since  he was little and loved being around it. His first win was in 2001 Chevette at Lake Cumberland Speedway. Career highlight so far was  in 2002 Eastern All Star Chevette Track Champion.

The trills of racing for Gerald are the  sounds of the engines, the smell of the fuel and the roar of the crowd. His most exciting racing moment was  braking into the 16 seconds qualifying at Lake Cumberland Speedway.

 He is most proud of  the 2002 Track Championship at Lake Cumberland Speedway.
