#35
Dennis Barton drives the #35 Open Wheel
Modified Class car. He lives in Corbin, Ky. His home track is
Lake Cumberland but he can also be found racing at Clinton County
and Bulls Gap
He started racing in 2003 in Pure Street
Class at Corbin Speedway, he had always wanted to race but never had the
chance until now. He bought a cazr for his son and he showed little
interest so he drove it himself.
He won his first race at Clinton County
Speedway in 2004. Career highlights include Winning the Groundhog
300 in the Open Wheel Class at East Alabama in Feb.2006.
The thrill of racing for Dennis is the
winning. His most exciting racing moment was in 2003 Memorial Day Weekend,
he flipped his car 6 or 7 times. He is most proud of just being able
to get out there every weekend and try for that win.
