Rhonda started racing in 1982 at Ohio
Valley Dragway because her parents were a big influence with her Dad
having a car all her childhood. Her first win was in 1983 in the
Bracket Class at Ohio Valley Dragway. Career highlights include
receiving her first Wally Trophy in 2002, winning the first time at
Bowling Green in 2003 the first time she was at the track, plus many
other wins.
The thrill of racing for Rhonda is the
speed and she loves her V-6. Her most exciting racing moment was
when she leaves the starting line and know she's had a good light and
runs her number. She's most proud of the victory when she received
the Wally Trophy and when she won at Beech Bend her first time racing
there.
Rhonda's racing heroes are Warren
Johnson and Brandon Bernstein.
Of racing, Rhonda says, "It is a great
sport and it is safer then the highway!".
