Amos Chesser drives the #5259 Bracket 2-Pro Class Dragster.  His home track is Ohio Valley Dragway but he can also be found racing at Hardinsburg.  He lives in Louisville, KY. 

Team members helping Amos are:  Dad - Bruce Chesser, Crew Chief - Todd Vandiver, Engine built and tuned by Paul Dunn, Friend and race Jeff Weihe, Paint - Rodger's Body Shop, Wife - Tarra Chesser, Sister - Diana Chesser.

Amos started racing in 2002 in the Bracket 2 Class at Ohio Valley Dragway because he liked it.  His first win was in 2002 in the Trophy Class at Ohio Valley Dragway.  Career highlights include friend Jeff Weihe won final in Amos's car when he lent it to him after Jeff's car broke a ladder bar.  Jeff had never been in the car before and won the final!

The thrill of racing for Amos is doing wheel stands.  His most exciting racing moment was on nitrous one time he stood the car on the wheelie bars straight up with the back tires off the ground.  He's most proud of the car's appearance. 

Of racing, Amos says, "It's like a drug you're addicted to or you don't         do it!".
