Chase McWhorter

Chase McWhorter drives the #1C Chevette Class car. He lives in  Kings Mountain, KY.  His home track is Ponderosa Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Lake Cumberland Speedway and Richmond Speedway.

Team members helping Chase are: Dad, Mom, Ma & D,  PaPa & MaMa, Mike Clem.

He started racing in 2000 in Go Karts at Lightning Valley, because it was a family tradition.  His first win was  in 2000 in Purple Restrictor Class at Lightning Valley.

Career highlights include 5 Kart Championships,  2001-Jr. Restricted Purple Plate at Richmond Raceway, 2002-Jr. Restricted Purple and Blue at Lightening Valley, 2003- Jr. Restricted Purple and Blue at Lightning Valley.  First Chevette win on July 16, 2004 at age 11, best finish in Modified was 5th with 2 Heat wins, 6 Feature wins in Chevette in 2005 and 9 Feature wins so far in 2006.

The thrill of racing for Chase is pulling into Victory Lane.  His most exciting racing moment  was his first win in the Chevette Class.  He is most proud of his 5 Track Champions in 3 Years and of placing 7th in National Race at Tunica, MS in 2003.  So many wins and still more than two years away from having his drivers license!

Chase's racing hero is Scott Bloomquist.
