Josh McGuire drives the 341 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Portsmouth Raceway Park but he can also be found racing at Rocky Top Raceway and Ponderosa Speedway.  He lives in Ashland, KY.

Josh started racing in 2001 in the Bomber Class at Thunder Mountain Speedway, Willard Speedway and Portsmouth Raceway Park as his family has always been very race oriented.  Josh was inspired by his famous Uncle Wayne McGuire, who raced Super Modified from the '50's and '60's. 

Josh's first win was in 2001 in the Bomber Class at Thunder Mountain Speedway and his first win in Late Model was in 2002 at the 201 Speedway.  Career highlights include 2 PPP Bomber Track Championships, 1 Thunder Mountain Speedway Track Championship and 2 Track Records in Late Model in 2006 (one at PPP and one at Rocky Top Raceway).

The thrill of racing for Josh is everything - the speed, the adrenaline rush, the engineering, the tactics.  His most exciting racing moment was 1.  Getting engaged to his wife after winning the Tri-State Championship in Late Model at Willard Speedway.  2.  Winning his first Late Model race at PPP in 2006.  3.  Making first regular Eldora show.  All of which he is most proud of.
