Ray Phillips Jr. drives the #89 Bombers Class car.  His home track is Ponderosa Speedway but he can also be found racing at Bluegrass Speedway and Burnside Speedway.  He lives in Lancaster, KY.

Team members helping Ray are:  Charles Graham - Father-in-law, sons - Dylan, Brandon and Cody.

Ray started racing in 2004 in the Chevette Class at Ponderosa Speedway because his wife bought him the car for Father's Day and said "You're   racing!". 

The thrill of racing for Ray is the excitement of bumping and grinding in the dirt.  His most exciting racing moment was meeting his wife at Ponderosa Speedway 18 years ago.  He's most proud when looking in the stands and seeing his family and friends supporting him, hoping soon to give them some wins.

Ray's racing hero is his Dad, the late Raymond Phillips Sr.
